Thank you MET. . .
Dear Sally
On behalf of Sayre School, I wish to thank MET for looking after the Dressage Arenas so diligently this year. The footing was perfect in all 4 rings. We had no trouble getting the new rings set up in good time with the monuments placed to insure we had square corners !
Tad and Georgia also worked with us by attending to the show jumping area by having it mowed on a regular basis.
We are so fortunate to have Masterson Station Park for the Equestrian community.
Thank you for all your help.
Shelley (Ryan)
After a washed-out first cross country schooling day May 2, the weather gods smiled upon us and Sunday, May 23 was a beautiful day.
Over 100 riders came out to school their horses over permanent and portable cross-country fences all over Masterson Station Park. Thank you to Stanley Wiggs for allowing us the use of her portables this year so we could make this event happen, and thank you to Georgia Ockerman and Christine Brown for preparing the fences, and to Tad Moreo for mowing paths through the hayfields so we could use some of the preliminary and training course.
Thanks to those of you who volunteered at this event. Another schooling day is on the calendar for Wednesday, June 23 (noon-7 p.m.) – let me know if you are interested in volunteering – 4 hours of your time gets you a free schooling!
Until then, happy eventing!
Sally Lockhart

We were proud to be the first show in the new Battle of the Bluegrass series – added to which, we had some very generous sponsors, including our Show Sponsor, Kentucky Performance Products – a sincere thank you to them and to our division and class sponsors.
Mother Nature co-operated with us this year, and we had a big turnout both days. Thank you to all who came and supported the show. Lots of photos are available for viewing on both the website and on our facebook page.
A huge thank you from all of us on the MET board to Ginny Howard, a founding board member and the show organizer, for all her hard work and efforts to make the show such a success – we could not possibly do it without her.
Watch for our 2011 date on the calendar
